DENPASAR – To support the G20 Summit, Kodam IX/Udayana received support for one unit of Battery-Based Electric Vehicle (KLBB) from Grab Indonesia. The handover ceremony was held at the Lobby of Makodam IX/Udayana, Jalan Udayana No. 1, Denpasar, on Wednesday (2/11/2022).
Witnessed by Pangdam IX/Udayana General Major TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M., signing of the Minutes Handover of vehicles was carried out by Dandenma Kodam IX/Udayana, Colonel Inf Made Yosep Angkasa and representative from Official Grab Bali Nusra, Mr. Darma. Meanwhile, the symbolic handover of keys was handed over directly to Pangdam IX/Udayana.
On this occasion, Pangdam was accompanied by Aspers Kasdam and Pabandya Alpal Slogdam IX/Udayana, greatly appreciated the support of Electric Vehicles to be able support the focus of energy transition in the G20 Presidency and help create Bali Clean Energy and accelerate the target of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in reducing carbon emissions.
The electric car with the Hyundai IONIQ Electric Vehicle type will later be used directly by Pangdam IX/Udayana as Commander of the Regional Security Task Force (Dansatgas Pamwil) to support security task activities at the G20 Summit whose peak implementation will be held on November 15-16, 2022.
Of course, it is an honor for Grab Indonesia to be able to assist Kodam IX/Udayana in carrying out important tasks to support the smooth running of the G20 Summit. In addition, this is also a concrete manifestation of Grab Indonesia’s commitment as one of the leading SuperApps in Southeast Asia in supporting the plan to accelerate implementation of the use of electric vehicles by encouraging the transition of energy from fossil sources to new and renewable energy.
